Greeting from the Conference Chair

On behalf of the organizing committee, It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 15th Korea-Japan Symposium on Materials and Interfaces (15th KJSMI) to be held in Seoul, Korea, from November 27 to 30, 2024. We are dedicated to fostering mutual interaction and developing friendships among Korean and Japanese researchers and students involved in the study of materials and interfaces.

​Seoul, the venue for the 15th KJSMI, is a vibrant city renowned for its K-pop culture, dynamic nightlife, and diverse culinary delights. Notably, Myeongdong, located in the heart of Seoul, is a bustling shopping district famous for its energetic atmosphere and wide array of offerings, attracting both locals and tourists. The streets are lined with lively shops, street food vendors, and cafes, making it a hotspot for food enthusiasts. Iconic landmarks like the Myeongdong Cathedral add historical charm.
